through the quartet game
Language comprehension -
Encourage using full sentences with a specific verb.
For example: “Do you have a cat digging with a shovel?”
Expression -
It’s recommended to use the group names rather than colors.
For example: “The garden group” instead of “the green group.”

Language comprehension
Play a fun challenge game: “Who can color a cat digging with a shovel?”
Take turns — sometimes the adult gives a task, sometimes the child. This way, you practice both understanding and expression.
Expression
Let the child describe what they see in the picture. If they don’t know a word, you can gently provide it.
For example, instead of “The cat is doing something with a saw,” say: “The cat is sawing.”
You can also share general knowledge:
“Do you know what a place where food is made is called? A restaurant.”
“And what do we call the person who cooks the food? A chef.”
Rhyming
Repeat the rhymes from the story.
Who’s pushing the wheelbarrow?
(It’s Kitty Bill Darrow!)
